Accessibility Statement

High Definition Learning Group is committed to making highdefinitionlearning.pages.dev usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance target

This site is being developed with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a stated target, not a certified conformance claim — some pages have not yet had a full manual audit.

What's in place today

• Descriptive alt text on book cover images
• ARIA labels on icon-only controls (search, menu, dark-mode toggle, modals)
• Keyboard focus traps in modal dialogs
• Visible focus outlines (:focus-visible)
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion — animations and auto-playing slideshows are disabled for users who request reduced motion
• Semantic heading structure and skip-friendly page regions

Known limitations

Some translated-language pages have not yet had accessibility review in their local language. Some interactive widgets (quiz, AI chat) have not yet had a full screen-reader pass.
